Job Description,Macsteel Tube & Pipe is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and hardworking employee to join our dynamic production team and is ready to contribute to a leading steel company., Requirements,Minimum of a matric certificate or 2 years proven work experience with acceptable levels of numeracy and literacy (Will be tested)Product Knowledge of all Macsteel products and the ability to understand and learn new productsPrepared to multi-task, work overtime or flexible shifts when requiredThe ability to communicate in EnglishPrepared to undergo trainingMust be physically capable to assist with loading and off-loading of stockMust be physically fit to climb onto trailers to hook and unhook products, Duties and Responsibilities,Assist with general production duties.Safe storage of materials.Routine safety inspections and reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.Report maintenance requirements in designated area.Assisting other departments when needed.Maintaining of safety and housekeeping as specified.Pulling or picking of material.Packing of material into storage (bins) locationsStrapping material.Sweeping and housekeeping.Improvement – continually aware of ways to improve directly or indirectly.Always Understanding and conformance to the company policies and procedures.Assist in stock takes.Perform any reasonable tasks.Offloading of material onto and from the loading tables.Learn all machines in area and to be declared competent on the machines.Assisting with any other job-related functions.
