This live-in opportunity is ideal for two qualified Guide professionals who are passionate about Safari experiences, conservation and exceptional guest service.The successful couple will conduct professional game drives and create personalised wildlife experiences for local and international guests. Both guides will be responsible for interpreting the natural environment, ensuring guest safety and maintaining high guiding standards throughout every safari activity.This role requires a mature and adaptable couple who can work independently and contribute positively to a small lodge team. A strong knowledge of African wildlife, birdlife, ecology and conservation is essential. Both partners must be comfortable assisting with guest hosting, vehicle care, equipment checks and general lodge operations when required.Guide, Safari And Lodge RequirementsTwo qualified Field Guides applying as an established couple. Recognised FGASA or equivalent guiding qualifications. Valid driver’s licences and Professional Driving Permits. Current First Aid certificates. Previous guiding experience in a Big Five reserve. Strong wildlife, birding, tracking and ecological knowledge. Confident conducting safe and informative game drives. Excellent communication and storytelling abilities. Professional guest-hosting and interpersonal skills. Experience working with international safari guests. Strong focus on guest safety and responsible wildlife viewing. Ability to complete daily vehicle and equipment checks. Mature, reliable and comfortable living in a remote lodge environment. Willingness to assist with hosting and general lodge operations. Both candidates must be well presented and fluent in English. Additional languages, trails qualifications or rifle-handling certification would be advantageous. Guiding Couple PackageMarket-related combined salary package. Live-in accommodation. Meals and additional benefits to be confirmed. Opportunity to work in a luxury Big Five safari environment.
