Job Description
All employees are responsible and held accountable for achieving compliance with our EHS procedures and policies, high-quality and productivity standards.-

Employees are responsible for, but not limited to:
• Knowing the equipment and process operation for packaging
• Handle, store, and transport chemical materials using motorized and non-motorized equipment.
• Manual and auto operation of the process, using field controls and computer-controlled interface systems.
• Package Material in appropriate containers, following proper procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations, including emergency shutdowns in his area.
• Complete plant data sheets, environmental reports, inventory sheets, forklift inspection reports, etc., as requested.
• Each Operator is accountable for the highest level of quality and housekeeping within their job function. -
• Operator may / will be required to work weekends and holidays depending on the sales demands of the business, and work overtime as production demands dictate.-
• Employee must successfully complete all applicable Operator Training and Certification tests and plant training requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, formulas, and procedure manuals.- Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written channels.- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, and climb or balance.- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance.-

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.- The employee is occasionally exposed to high places; fumes or airborne particles; chemicals (acids and bases); outside weather conditions; heat; noise and vibration.
• Applicants need to have strong reading (English), math, and technical skills, and the ability to qualify on various processes and equipment in a dynamic and complex chemical manufacturing environment.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the chemical industry
