Job Description and Responsibilities We are seeking Welder to join our Maintenance team at our Pueblo, Colorado location. As a welder, skilled in the craft of welding and fabrication, you will provide necessary support to all areas of the mill in a safe manner. Read prints, plan work, procedures and techniques Obtain and move materials, tools, and equipment Operates all equipment needed to complete the job Direct others in conditioning and preparation Observe lockout procedures Perform routine maintenance and assists Maintenance personnel Obtain and maintain OSHA 10 and equipment certifications, as required Additional tasksas assigned Requirements Associate Degree in welding or have completed a welding apprenticeship Must have a minimum 1 year experience in fabrication and welding, structural experience and certification preferred Must have a valid Colorado drivers license Competent in manipulating numbers, quantities, shapes and spaces; able to take precise measurements and calculate necessary dimensions Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and manage your time when given multiple tasks Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of personnel Physical ability to climb, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, make repetitive motions, hear, etc.and the ability to constantly exert forces up to 50 pounds and frequently exert forces up to 100 pounds to lift, carry, push and pull Ability to work in inside, outside, and adverse environmental conditions with elevated noise levels and physical hazards Qualified Candidates will be required to demonstrate proficiency through testing The above statement reflects the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job identified, and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all of the work requirements that may be inherent in the job. $28.78 per hour Shift differential Our total compensation package includes amazing benefits!
