Job Description
Turning Steel Boxes into Game-Changing Spaces

You take pride in clean layouts, tight installs, and plumbing systems that pass inspection the first time. You read drawings carefully, plan your work ahead, and stay organized so the job keeps moving. You’re a commercial plumber who understands that plumbing doesn’t happen in isolation—it has to integrate cleanly with the rest of the build.

ROXBOX is hiring a Commercial Plumber to own the plumbing scope of work within our modular manufacturing facility. This role is plumbing-first and code-driven.
What You’ll Own & Execute
• Commercial Plumbing Installation - Install, test, and troubleshoot full plumbing systems in modular units, including water supply, drainage, venting, and fixtures—working from engineered drawings and code-compliant specifications.
• Plan Review & Field Feedback - Review plumbing drawings in advance, flag issues early, and provide practical, field-informed input to design and production teams.
• Material & Inventory Control - Track, stage, and order plumbing materials
• Testing, Quality, & Compliance - Perform pressure testing, inspections, and troubleshooting to deliver leak-free, inspection-ready systems compliant with IPC, TDLR industrialized housing requirements, and local codes.
• Cross-Trade Support (As Needed) - Since the position is full-time, if no plumbing is scheduled, applicants will assist with adjacent finish work—such as framing, drywall, flooring, or paint—when required to keep overall production moving. (Plumbing remains the core responsibility.) Training in these areas will be provided.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
• Active Texas Journeyman Plumber license (Master license not required but a bonus if you have it)
• 3–5+ years of new construction, commercial plumbing experience (modular, prefab, or fast-track construction strongly preferred)
• Strong blueprint reading skills and comfort working from detailed plumbing drawings
• Solid knowledge of IPC, commercial fixtures, piping methods, and testing procedures
• Organized, reliable, and proactive—you plan ahead rather than reacting late
• Comfortable owning material management and coordinating your scope independently
• Willingness to support other finish trades when assigned, without losing focus on plumbing quality
Compensation & Details
• Hourly compensation: $30–$45/hr DOE
• Full-time role with steady work and overtime opportunities
• Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and PTO
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday standard, with occasional Fridays or overtime as needed
• Location: On-site in Houston, TX (77041)
• Dress code: Work-appropriate, safety-focused
Why ROXBOX
• Modular projects where plumbing systems are built once—and built right
• A production environment that rewards planning, accuracy, and clean execution
• Leadership that values competence, systems, and accountability
• Opportunity to grow with a company scaling nationally in modular construction
• Real work, real impact, no fluff
