Job Description
Defense International is the region's largest concierge and security firm with operations servicing luxury residential communities, resorts/hotels, and corporate wellness facilities. We are looking for a professional Unarmed Security Officer to protect our premises, assets, and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Defense International is seeking an Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Security Officer

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be tactful and courteous in dealing with visitors, staff, vendors, and others.
• Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at the client site.
• Solid ability with computers and smartphones including word processing and email.
• (2) or more years of experience working in the physical security industry, military, or law enforcement preferred.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
• Greet and direct visitors as appropriate based on the purpose of their visit
• Demonstrated outstanding organizational skills required and the ability to accurately maintain and organize large volumes of paperwork

Able to:
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites
• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during the shift
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

REQUIREMENTS:
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Active CA Guard Card
• Provide CA MVR Report from DMV (Must provide at interview)
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions
• As a condition of employment, the employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
