Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Apprentice/ Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in plumbing, construction, and maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with various hand and power tools. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings.

Duties
β€’ Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
β€’ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
β€’ Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings and repairs.
β€’ Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
β€’ Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality.
β€’ Execute heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
β€’ Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
β€’ Provide field service support for plumbing emergencies or repairs as needed.
β€’ Assist in remodeling projects that involve plumbing modifications or installations.
β€’ Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with safety regulations.

Requirements
β€’ Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
β€’ Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
β€’ Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
β€’ Experience with pipe threading techniques and basic math skills for measurements.
β€’ Strong background in carpentry or maintenance person tasks is advantageous.
β€’ Previous construction site experience preferred to understand site protocols.
β€’ Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties.
β€’ Valid commercial driving license may be required depending on job assignments.
