Position Overview

M&D Transportation, LLC is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Overnight Linehaul Driver to transport wholesale goods between distribution centers and customer locations. This position requires a professional driver with a strong commitment to regulatory compliance, safety, and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate company-owned tractor-trailers to transport wholesale goods on designated routes.
• Ensure all loads are secured and handled with care to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, vehicle inspections, and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics personnel regarding delivery status, delays, or operational concerns.
• Assist with minor vehicle troubleshooting and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow strict protocols for handling controlled substances and high-value pharmaceutical goods.
• Ensure compliance with temperature-controlled transport requirements when applicable.
• Uphold M&D Transportation’s commitment to safety, customer service, and reliability.

Qualifications
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of nine (9) years of experience as a commercial truck driver, preferably in line haul operations.
• In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations, safety protocols, and commercial vehicle operation.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience handling sensitive cargo is a plus.

Schedule
• Overnight morning Sunday through Thursday, and every other Friday

Compensation
• Starting pay is $250 per day but can vary based on experience.
