The Security Guard is responsible for securing the premises, preventing access by unauthorized individuals, directing customers, responding to security alarms, and maintaining security logs and incident reports.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
• Monitoring and securing assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access or activities.
• Responding promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in accordance with company protocols.
• Directing and assisting customers, visitors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to ensure safety and compliance with security procedures.
• Writing detailed incident reports and maintaining accurate security logs.
• Collaborating with law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary.
• Enforcing site rules and regulations while maintaining a visible and professional presence.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the site supervisor or security manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license
• Must have a valid Texas non-commission (Level II) security license
• Prior experience in customer service or security

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in customer service or security
• One (1) year of customer service experience is highly preferred
