Job Description
The DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago Magnificent Mile is looking for their next Seasonal Security Officer.

Tucked between Magnificent Mile shopping and Navy Pier attractions, our location makes exploring Chicago easy. We're a 10-minute walk from 360 CHICAGO, Millennium Park, and the CTA Red Line.

The ideal candidate, has open availability, previous security experience preferred but not required and is dependable on keeping the building and everyone inside secure!

Shift Pattern: able to work morning, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Pay Rate/Salary Range: $20.72 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Security Officer, you would be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
β€’ Patrol the interior of and the perimeter of the hotel and the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions.
β€’ Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property.
β€’ Promote safe work practices.
β€’ Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed.
β€’ Writes reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed.
β€’ Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
