Security Officer – High Visibility Site

Location: Near Downtown

Pay Rate: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Multiple shifts and positions available

We are seeking professional and energetic Security Officers for a high-visibility facility near downtown. This assignment requires strong customer service skills, situational awareness, and the ability to operate professionally in a dynamic environment where assignments and responsibilities may change regularly.

Officers must be comfortable working around public gatherings and civic activity while maintaining neutrality and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities
β€’ Gate control and access control
β€’ Monitor cameras and report unusual activity
β€’ Conduct extended walking patrols focused on safety and visibility
β€’ Provide professional customer service to visitors and staff
β€’ Support a variety of assignments as operational needs change
β€’ Maintain accurate reports and follow all post orders

Position Requirements
β€’ Must be fit for duty and capable of long-duration walking patrols
β€’ Strong communication and customer service skills
β€’ Energetic, alert, and professional presence
β€’ Ability to adapt to changing assignments and operational needs
β€’ Personal electronic devices (including phones) are not permitted while on post
β€’ Valid security license (as required by state law)
β€’ Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
