Overview

Why We Need Your Talents:

The General Manager is responsible for the daily oversight of the Restaurant and staff. Responsibilities for the GM include ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, providing exceptional internal and external guest service, monitoring food presentation and quality, leading our team members with a positive and engaging spirit, and effectively managing the outlet’s P&L. The GM’s overall leadership and partnership with the culinary and service staff is paramount to our success.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:
• Create a strong partnership with the culinary and front of house staff to ensure exceptional guest service, consistent dish presentation, and exceptional food quality
• Maintaining open communication with staff and fostering a team spirit
• Work closely with the servers/hostesses and culinary staff to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, and that cleanliness exceeds expectations.
• Supervises and assists in guest service training for all Team Members
• Manage quality control of the service and timeliness of food & alcohol orders.
• Evaluate and respond to guest trends, needs, issues, and comments
• Assists with the development of marketing strategies to drive new visitation, guest loyalty and VIP player and Host driven events
• Helps create venue awareness through social media channels
• Stays abreast of competitive techniques and strives for continuous improvement
• Ensures that the outlet’s physical appearance/FFE is maintained in exceptional condition
• Ensures compliance with all regulations associated with food, alcohol, and gaming
• Coordinates with the culinary team and purchasing to ensure that the outlet maintains appropriate beverage/food inventories
• Optimizes the controlling the cost of labor, food, and beverage
• Perform continuous process improvement for enhancing Asian guests’ amenities for the venue and support of gaming pit areas and retail opportunities

Qualifications

Skills to Help You Succeed:
• Fluency in English and one or more Asiatic languages.
• Extensive knowledge of Pacific Rim styles of cooking principles, ingredients, cooking principles, and preparation techniques - related to various ethnic dishes and flavor profiles
• Have general beverage knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cordials.
• Flexible work schedule.
• Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulations
• Knowledge and experience in POS systems such as Micros, Aloha
• Knowledge of budgeting, P&L review, percentages, variances, etc.

Must-Haves
• High school diploma or equivalent required;4-year degree in related fields preferred .
• 5-7 years experience in restaurant management and supervision.
• Ability to analyze and interpret operation results
• Ability to solve complex problems
• Ability to perform assigned duties under pressue
• Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner
• Must be certified in alcohol awareness
• Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
