HOME DAILY!!

MANUAL DRIVE REQUIRED

Location: 59/Homestead Area
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Occasional early start around 5:30 AM; notice provided)

We are seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver with 18-wheeler and flatbed experience to join our team. This is a full-time position with daily home time.

Qualified applicant will be transporting steel materials within the local area, maintaining vehicle upkeep, adhering to delivery schedules, and ensuring safe driving practices while navigating local routes, often making multiple deliveries per day.

Requirements
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience
• Clean MVR
• Must be able to drive manual transmission trucks
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening and remain in random testing pool
• Strong communication skills and good work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of Houston-area roads
• Ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities
• Transport steel loads between our 59/Homestead location and job sites in Houston and surrounding areas
• Occasionally handle permitted loads
• Maintain accurate truck logs per state and federal regulations
• Keep records of materials and products transported
• Inspect, clean, and service vehicle as needed
• SECURE LOADS USING CHAINS
• Perform basic trailer repairs and maintenance (e.g., lights, minor fixes)

Technology Requirements
• MUST BE ABLE TO USE COMPANY TABLETS, including:
• Opening/viewing shipping tickets
• Obtaining digital signatures on delivery tickets
• Emailing signed tickets to the field
• Taking and uploading photos to OneDrive
• Keeping up with the emailed delivery calendar and assigned routes
