Job Description
Job description:

Join Payeload – Driving America Forward

Payeload is transforming how construction materials move — from suppliers to job sites — fast, efficient, and on-demand. We’re looking for independent, professional 1099 Local Delivery Drivers to help redefine the delivery experience.

What You'll Do
• Operate vehicle and/or equipment such as forklifts, lift gates, pallet jack, etc.
• Pick up and deliver construction materials between suppliers and job sites
• Handle all loads safely, securely, and on time
• Follow optimized delivery routes and time windows through our dispatch system
• Communicate clearly with dispatch for smooth delivery handoffs
• Maintain DOT compliance and follow all safety procedures

Driver Requirements
• Must be 25 years or older
• Valid Class C Driver’s License minimum (CDL A or B is a plus)
• 2+ years of experience driving XL trucks, flatbeds, or box trucks
• Ability to operate a forklift/moffett, pallet jack, and/or lift gate (preferred, not required)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and background check
• Physically able to manage and secure heavy materials
• Must own or lease an XL Vehicle - 24ft flatbed or box truck - for full-time work

Vehicle Options & Delivery Opportunities!

We offer flexible opportunities based on your vehicle type and availability:

1. Use Your Personal Vehicle (Light-Duty Work)

Drivers with a pickup truck, SUV, or van may qualify for smaller, lighter deliveries such as boxed items, tools, or small materials. These opportunities are:
• Ideal for those seeking part-time or supplemental income
• Assigned based on vehicle size and availability
• Limited by job volume and local delivery demand

Since construction demand fluctuates, this type of work is not guaranteed to be full-time. Many of our personal vehicle drivers also supplement their income by using other delivery platforms

2. Use your own or lease a 24ft Flatbed Truck (Heavy-Duty Work)

Note: Drivers must be 25+ years old and available for full-time work to qualify for a lease.

Pay & Schedule
• Compensation: Paid per delivery (varies based on job type, size, and location)
• XL Vehicle Lease Drivers: Starting at $1,000/week (full time required), based on delivery volume, performance, and communication
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shifts only
• No nights, no weekends, no overnight routes
• Daily or weekly payouts available

Additional Perks
• Be home every evening
• Operate as a 1099 contractor
• Work with a fast-growing logistics network in the construction industry
• Referral program available
