Job Summary

This role reports to the Manager, Cleaning & Office Services. T he Cleaning Specialist’s main responsibilities are to keep the office and surrounding space in a clean orderly manner . This includes all pantries, conference rooms, event spaces , and furniture throughout the office. Additionally, the Cleaning Specialist will support events, including our Connects Team , with the set-up and breakdown of all meetings and events ( modify space/furniture as needed). This position will assist with providing the conference r oom s upplies as needed for catered events .

Main Duties and Responsibilities

3 5 % -
• Pantries to be cleaned frequently , especially after the breakfast and lunch rushes
• Review inventory and upkeep of catering pantries & storage closets, and notify the manager for restoration of supplies needed

3 5% -
• Conference rooms and available meeting spaces cleaned after each use
• Ensure supplies are readily available for events
• Set up, break down and clean-up after events

10 % - Glass in all entryways and conference rooms to be kept fingerprint- free

5 % - Furniture fronts in offices and cubicles should be wiped and cleaned weekly

5% - Dishwasher loaded, ran and unloaded, once or twice daily.

5% - All floors swept and vacuumed and high dusting when needed

5% - Assist with other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

This person does not have any supervisory responsibilities .

Knowledge and Skills Required
• The candidate should have a high school diploma or its equivalent .
• 3-5 Years experience
• Exceptional communication within, between and among facilities services groups is very important . The ability to communicate to the employees he/she will be servicing is a must .
• The candidate should be proactive, resourceful and collaborative.

This role is a physical job and requires the person to be able to constantly move about the space as well as walk long distances each day.

Salary Range: $19.23 to $26.44 an hour. A successful applicant’s actual hourly rate may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
