What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, site contacts, and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and authorized entry activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel during emergencies, special events, and/or public interactions by following post orders and maintaining a professional presence in varying environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
