Position Summary

The High-End Event Security Officer provides a professional, polished, and discreet security presence for a special event at Beverly Center Mall. This position supports access control, backstage security, crowd management, VIP awareness, and incident response while preserving the upscale atmosphere of the event. Officers must demonstrate excellent customer service, strong situational awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a high-traffic, image-sensitive environment.

Required Uniform

All assigned personnel must report in the following attire
β€’ Black Security Polo shirt
β€’ Black Pants
β€’ Black Shoes

Uniforms must be clean, pressed, and professional. Officers must maintain a neat appearance and may be required to wear an earpiece or radio discreetly.

Access Control
β€’ Monitor entrances and exits for guests, staff, vendors, media, and VIP attendees.
β€’ Verify credentials, guest lists, wristbands, or badges before allowing entry into restricted areas.
β€’ Prevent unauthorized access to backstage, dressing rooms, VIP areas, and production spaces.

Crowd Monitoring
β€’ Maintain orderly guest movement in event spaces, queue lines, and viewing areas.
β€’ Assist with line control and prevent overcrowding near entrances, runway areas, and restricted zones.
β€’ Address minor disruptions with calm, professional communication.

Backstage and Event Security
β€’ Secure backstage, production, wardrobe, and talent areas.
β€’ Protect production materials from theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
β€’ Maintain awareness of event timing and movement to minimize disruption.

VIP and Talent Support
β€’ Support discreet escort or presence near VIP routes, entrances, or reserved areas as directed.
β€’ Maintain privacy and professionalism at all times.

Customer Service
β€’ Serve as a visible ambassador of safety while supporting the luxury image of the event.
β€’ Provide courteous direction and assistance to guests when appropriate.
β€’ Maintain a calm, respectful, and polished demeanor in all interactions.

Qualifications
β€’ Prior experience in event security, hospitality security, retail security, or high-profile customer service preferred.
β€’ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
β€’ Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
β€’ Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required.
β€’ California Guard Card.

Physical Requirements
β€’ Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 12 hours.
β€’ Must be able to respond quickly to incidents or access issues.
β€’ Must maintain a professional presence throughout the assignment.
