Job Description
Position: Welder Entry Level

Location: Farmingdale, NY

Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift Available

Manufacturing company that fabricates steel frames and cabinets for server rooms, data centers, and other functional data storage & applications. We are hiring due to growth within the data/technology industry, with demand increasing due to work-from-home and online retail. The welding position requires experience with MIG, TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum metals. You will perform straight and plug welds to fabricate frames and shelving to customer specifications. You must have experience in welding and reading blueprints.

β€’ Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum metals.

β€’ Execute welds to fabricate frames and shelving according to customer specifications.

β€’ Read and interpret blueprints.

β€’ Work with assembly and fabrication processes.

β€’ Engage in grinding, sanding, and deburring tasks.

Essential Skills:

β€’ Manufacturing experience is required.

β€’ Experience with MIG and TIG welding.

β€’ Proficiency in welding stainless steel and aluminum metals.

β€’ Ability to perform lap joint, Tee joint, and butt joint welds.

β€’ Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmingdale, NY.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $25.00/hr.
