Job Position: Packer

Location: Houston, TX 77099

Pay Rate: $11.00/hr

Shift:
Monday
- Friday 9am-5pm

The Packer is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing food products and merchandise for storage, shipment, and delivery. This role supports daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced food distribution environment. The packer ensures that inventory is handled with care, packaging meets quality standards, and shipments are prepared according to company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
• Package Products:
Pack products into cartons, totes, pallets, or other shipping containers in accordance with packing lists and product specifications.
• Inspect Quality:
Visually inspect items to ensure packaging integrity, correct counts, proper seals, and accurate labeling before shipment.
• Assemble Packaging:
Prepare boxes, crates, and other packing materials; apply labels and other required documentation.
• Maintain Inventory:
Help organize and rotate inventory; report any damaged or expired goods to supervisors.
• Operate Equipment:
Use basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, scales, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Housekeeping:
Keep packing areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and sanitation standards.
