Linde drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders, hard goods, and associated products, following a computer-generated local route to customer locations. This position is physically active and will be responsible for loading/unloading at client sites. Linde drivers engage with customers by responding to their needs and providing excellent customer service.

Pay Range: $28.50 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will be doing:
β€’ Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
β€’ Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
β€’ Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
β€’ Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
β€’ Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
β€’ Build both relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs
β€’ Continuously building your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing
β€’ Other duties as assigned

What makes you great:
β€’ 2 years of consecutive driving experience or have recently received a certification from an accredited Truck Driving School
β€’ Valid class A or B CDL is required
β€’ Current Hazmat Endorsement on CDL strongly preferred or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
β€’ No preventable accidents, license suspensions or other moving violations in the past 2 years
β€’ No alcohol related convictions within the last 10 years
β€’ Pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
β€’ Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 75 pounds
β€’ Read and write in English
β€’ High School or G.E.D. is required
β€’ 21 years or older
β€’ Effective organizational, listening, and communication skills
