Job Description
Duties
• Perform MIG welding on a wide range of metal materials, including sheet metal and ductwork, following detailed blueprints and schematics.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal components.
• Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and weld integrity.
• Follow safety protocols related to construction site work, crane operation, rigging, and forklift handling to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with pipe threading, mechanical assembly, and basic math calculations necessary for precise fabrication tasks.
• Adhere to ASME codes & standards during welding processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Skills
• Proven experience in construction site environments with knowledge of safety procedures.
• Expertise in MIG welding techniques; familiarity with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, and other fabrication equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge including pipe threading, machining, soldering, and assembly processes.
• Experience with TIG welding and specific welding standards is desirable.
• Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, schematics, and basic math for precise measurements.
• Knowledge of rigging operations involving cranes or forklifts for material handling.
• Familiarity with ASME codes & standards governing welding practices.
• Ability to work efficiently within manufacturing environments while maintaining high safety standards.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
