As a Security Officer - Community Patrol Full-Time in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist staff, patients, and visitors with professional communication and customer service, document observations, and respond to concerns as part of a team. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and promptly notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter, watching for unusual activity and helping to deter policy violations.
• Control access to restricted areas by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in, and directing authorized persons to appropriate destinations according to site guidelines.
• Complete routine security-related reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations during shift turnovers to support continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
