As a Security Officer - Dispatch Center in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a premier commercial real estate location in Chicago, you will coordinate responses to security-related calls, monitor cameras and access control activity, and communicate clearly with officers and site teams. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Operate the dispatch function by monitoring alarms, cameras, radios, and phone lines; prioritize calls for service; and/or coordinate response with on-site personnel and local first responders as directed by post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document details, relay updates to leadership and/or property management, and complete required reports.
• Support building access control by verifying credentials, logging visitors and vendors, issuing temporary passes as directed, and/or coordinating after-hours access requests.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
