Part-Time Housekeeper
Location: New York City
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 25–30 hours per week
Rate: $45–$50 per hour
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented part-time housekeeper to maintain a private NYC residence. The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, security-conscious, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards.
Responsibilities include:
General housekeeping: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, making beds, tidying living spaces, trash and recycling
Laundry and linen care: washing, folding, ironing, changing bed linens, and coordinating dry cleaning
Household organization and monitoring supplies (with approval for larger purchases)
Running occasional errands and receiving packages
Coordinating and overseeing approved vendors and communicating updates to the principals
Ensuring the home is secure, including arming/disarming the alarm and locking doors/windows
Assisting with occasional small gatherings (setup and cleanup)
Light meal prep and periodic deep cleaning as needed
