We are seeking a motivated and dependable Oil Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting heating oil, to residential customers. Your expertise in truck driving and route management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of a fast-paced logistics operation that values efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
β€’ Safely operate a variety of commercial tanker trucks.
β€’ Load and unload oil products using appropriate manual methods, ensuring proper handling and securement of freight.
β€’ Execute route driving plans efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
β€’ Deliver oil products to designated locations with precision and professionalism, providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction.
β€’ Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure optimal safety and operational standards; report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
β€’ Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and route records; communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or delays.
β€’ Follow all safety protocols related to handling hazardous materials and operating tanker trucks.

Experience
β€’ Proven experience in truck driving or commercial driving roles, preferably with a focus on oil transportation.
β€’ Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is essential; experience with tanker trucks.
β€’ Prior delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures using forklifts or manual methods is preferred.
β€’ Knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices to optimize efficiency and safety.
β€’ Ability to handle freight securely while complying with all safety regulations related to hazardous materials handling when applicable.
