As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a renowned cultural institution, you will monitor galleries and public spaces, conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to reports and alarms. You will greet guests, provide clear directions, and support staff with professional communication and customer-focused service. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of galleries, public areas, offices, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at designated entry points by monitoring doors, visitor flow, and restricted areas, and by verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization when required.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
