Job Description
Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Welder with hands-on experience operating automated welding systems, specifically Novarc welding robots. The ideal candidate will have strong robotic welding knowledge, the ability to work 1st or 3rd shift, and a commitment to quality, safety, and production efficiency. Candidates without direct Novarc experience may be considered if they have relevant experience with Roto-Weld or Ready to Weld systems.

Essential Duties
β€’ Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Novarc welding robots to meet production and quality standards
β€’ Set up welding parameters, fixtures, and tooling for automated welding processes.
β€’ Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specifications
β€’ Adjust programs and welding variables as needed to maintain weld quality
β€’ Maintain a safe, organized work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards
β€’ Perform basic equipment maintenance and report issues to maintenance/engineering
β€’ Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to improve welding efficiency

Minimum Requirements
β€’ Certified Welder (AWS or equivalent certification required)
β€’ 3+ years of experience operating Novarc welding robots
β€’ Ability to work 1st or 3rd shift as required
β€’ Strong understanding of welding processes (GMAW/FCAW/SAW preferred, as applicable)
β€’ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
β€’ Proven track record of producing consistent, high-quality welds

Preferred / Alternate Experience
β€’ Experience with Roto-Weld and/or Ready to Weld automated welding systems in lieu of direct Novarc experience
β€’ Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
β€’ Robotic welding programming or troubleshooting experience

Physical & Work Requirements
