Pay: $21.00 per hour
Location: Little Tokyo / Downtown Los Angeles
Position: Unarmed Security Guard – HOA Residential Property
We are hiring for 2 available positions.

Guard-Systems, Inc. is hiring Swing Shift Security Guards for an HOA residential property in the Little Tokyo / Downtown LA area.

This position is a great fit for someone who is professional, proactive, customer-service focused, and comfortable staying visible throughout the property. We are looking for guards who can provide a welcoming presence for residents and guests while also being alert, dependable, and ready to handle activity around the building.

This is not a “sit back and do nothing” post. We need someone who pays attention, communicates well, and can confidently address issues when they come up — including occasionally asking transients or unauthorized individuals to move along from the property area.

Available Shifts

Shift 1:

Thursday – Sunday

3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Shift 2:

Monday – Wednesday

3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Saturday & Sunday

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

What You’ll Do

Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors

Maintain a professional and visible security presence

Monitor property activity and report concerns

Conduct routine patrols of the property

Assist with access control and front desk/security duties as needed

Address unauthorized individuals on or near the property in a calm, professional manner

Document incidents, activity, and any unusual conditions

Communicate with management and supervisors as needed

Comfortable working in the Downtown LA / Little Tokyo area

Able to handle transient activity professionally and safely

Comfortable standing, walking, and patrolling

Experienced in security, HOA, residential, concierge, or access control environments

Requirements

Valid California Guard Card required

Prior security experience preferred

Strong customer service skills

Must be able to work one of the listed schedules

Must be comfortable working in the Downtown LA / Little Tokyo area
