Job Description
Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking up orders from local vendors in Houston area. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various driving tasks, including route driving and heavy lifting.

Duties
β€’ Fills out Driver Check List prior to driving.
β€’ Plan efficient routes to collect POs from vendors
β€’ Maintain paperwork of POs collected and advising any extra POs not included for pick up.
β€’ Check to see if package is damaged.
β€’ Unload merchandise into van or truck.
β€’ Take payments when needed.
β€’ Cleans up his/her truck at the end of the day or after a delivery to make ready for the next day.
β€’ Inspect and maintain vehicle, adding fluids and oil as needed.
β€’ Monitor traffic conditions to avoid delays.
β€’ Read and interpret maps and GPS directions.

Requirements
β€’ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
β€’ Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
β€’ Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and long hours on the road.
β€’ Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
β€’ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
