Job Description
Welders

We are looking for welders that will be responsible for joining or repairing metal parts using a variety of welding techniques, such as arc welding, gas welding, and resistance welding. They must be able to read blueprints and schematics, and they must be proficient in the use of specialized welding equipment. Welders must also be familiar with safety procedures and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Weld metal parts together according to blueprints or specifications
• Prepare surfaces for welding by grinding, cleaning, and applying flux or filler metal
• Operate welding machines, such as arc welders, gas welders, and resistance welders
• Monitor welding parameters, such as temperature and current
• Inspect welds to ensure they are of high quality and meet specifications
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to travel
• 2+ years of experience as a welder or welder helper
• Proficient in arc welding, gas welding, and resistance welding
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and regulations
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
