As an Allied Universal Officer supporting a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control at key entry points, verify credentials, greet employees, drivers, and visitors, and document arrivals and departures. You will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, while communicating clearly with site leaders and our operations team. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Manage access control at entrances and gates by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials when authorized, maintaining visitor and vendor logs, and directing drivers to designated check-in areas.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic flow for employees, contractors, and delivery vehicles, reporting irregularities and/or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and communicating timely updates to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, dock areas, and perimeter, observing for unusual activity that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or theft.

Minimum Requirements:
• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
