As an Allied Universal Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will support access control by verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs. You will complete routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide polished customer service to tenants and guests. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, and you will bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Operate access control at entrances and controlled areas by verifying identification, authorizing entry, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining sign-in and/or access logs per site requirements.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems; respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, lobbies, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed reports of shift activity, incidents, access exceptions, and policy violations; support investigations by preserving observations and related documentation.

Minimum Requirements:
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
