Job Description
(Houston, TX): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Welder responsible for welding flanges to valves per blueprint specifications, fitting pieces together, and ensuring all welds are defect-free prior to moving products to the next stage of production. This position requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of welding processes, and the ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties:
• Weld flanges to valves according to blueprint drawings and welding specifications
• Fit and assemble metal components to ensure proper alignment and weld quality
• Inspect welds to verify they are defect-free before advancing to the next operation
• Read and interpret weld drawings and welding procedure specifications
• Operate automatic welding machines and related fabrication equipment
• Utilize oxyacetylene cutting torches as required during fabrication processes
• Report daily production activities and progress to the team lead
• Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes when moving materials and components
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times

Requirements/Skills:
• Minimum of two (2) years of welding experience
• Ability to perform GMAW welding processes
• Ability to read and interpret welding procedures, blueprints, and weld drawings
• Experience operating automatic welding machines
• Familiarity with oxyacetylene cutting torches
• Forklift operation experience preferred
• Experience using overhead cranes
• Previous assembly manufacturing experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, sparks, noise, and moving equipment
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including welding shields, gloves, and safety gear
