Position Summary

As the Service Operations Manager at Moneygun, you are responsible for ensuring service and hospitality are running smoothly across all areas of the operation. This role serves as a direct supervisor and key resource for the bar, kitchen, and security teams, providing guidance and hands-on support as needed. You are consistently present on the floor during service, using the company’s mission and guiding principles to inform decisions and help shape team culture. You also partner with the General Manager, 16OC Beverage Director, and shared services team to support event programming and activations.

Additional Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

Leadership
• Act as a standard bearer for the Moneygun brand, serving as the host of the party during service and ensuring all hourly staff reflect the same FOH “hospitotally” and level of service
• Maintain a consistent, professional presence as a leader for the team
• Partner with the GM and AGM to execute regular training sessions to build the service team’s knowledge and skill set
• Maintain clear communication across kitchen, bar prep, security, and FOH teams to ensure smooth service execution

Financials / Partnerships
• Support and build relationships with brand partners and distributors
• Collaborate on activations and partnerships that drive guest engagement and revenue

Operations
• Lead shifts as Manager on Duty (MOD) 3–5 times per week, including a mix of opening and closing shifts, ensuring strong execution and timely resolution of issues
• Support the GM with scheduling, ensuring schedules are posted at least two weeks in advance
• Maintain and update SOPs and operational documents as needed
• Ensure efficient and consistent opening and closing procedures, with clear ownership across the team
• Oversee cleanliness and organization across all FOH and BOH spaces
• Attend weekly manager meetings and follow through on assigned action items
• Execute beverage activations and partnerships, including holidays, menu features, and special events
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives through to completion

About You
• 3+ years of experience managing people in a hospitality environment
• Experience working floor service and leading shifts as Manager on Duty (MOD) in a bar or restaurant setting
• Availability to work nights and weekends, including MOD shifts
• Strong interest in building community within teams and creating a positive guest experience
• Experience hiring, training, and developing team members
• Experience creating and maintaining SOPs across bar operations
• Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus, but not required
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 lbs as needed
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, including late nights and loud settings
