Summary:

Roadway Moving is seeking experienced and dependable CDL Class A OTR Freight Drivers to transport freight warehouse-to-warehouse between our nationwide hub locations. This is a 1099 independent contractor position offering consistent miles and strong earning potential for qualified drivers (up to $200,000+ annually).

Drivers will operate our newest, up-to-date equipment while running long-haul routes that support our growing U.S. hub network, including Texas, Chicago, Florida, California, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Moving company experience is strongly preferred but not required for candidates with proven OTR experience. We are also open to working with OTR drivers who have their own trailers.

Compensation:
Mileage-based pay: $0.80 per mile Performance based bonuses Earning potential: $150,000 $200,000 1099 Independent Contractor+ annually

Duties & Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on over-the-road (OTR) routes NO TOUCH FREIGHT! Transport freight from warehouse to warehouse between Roadway Moving hubs and partner locations Maintain on-time pick-ups and deliveries while following assigned schedules and routes Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly Ensure cargo is transported safely and securely (as required by load type) Follow all DOT regulations, company safety standards, and traffic laws Communicate with dispatch regarding route status, delays, and delivery updates Maintain accurate trip documentation, delivery paperwork, and required logs Represent Roadway Moving professionally at all customer, warehouse, and hub locations

Qualifications:
Valid CDL Class A license Minimum 1 year of verifiable freight OTR driving experience Moving company driving experience preferred Clean driving record (MVR) and ability to meet insurance requirements Ability to pass background check and drug screening (as required) Strong safety mindset and knowledge of DOT compliance Reliable, professional, and able to work independently Comfortable with long-haul travel and flexible scheduling
