Job Description
Payrate: $18.87

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours Vary: On Call: Day and Night Cleaner

General Responsibilities:

Maintain office building, or other commercial building in clean and orderly condition based on the scope of work on job site assigned to.

Specific Duties / Essential Functions:
• Cleaning offices, lobbies, and common areas.
• Cleaning and restocking restrooms.
• Empty trash cans around the property and replace trash bags.
• Cleaning corridors and stairwells.
• Removing trash, cleaning floors, dusting/wiping down all surfaces.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
• Operating walk-behind floor cleaning machines (if applicable).
• Cleans and polishes furniture, windows, doors, frames, ashtrays, and fixtures.
• Perform End of Shift Inspections (EOS) following company guidelines, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met at the end of each shift.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Restocking supplies in, bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Maintain janitor closet and janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
• Proficiency in English will enhance your ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and clients, ensuring smooth operations.

Skills & Experience:
• Janitorial experience is preferred, but not required.
• High school or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
• Open availability: Overtime work and schedule adjustments may be needed/necessary. Holiday work may also be required.

Physical Requirements:
• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs., carry 12 lb. backpack vacuum as needed.
