Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Fitter/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting and welding various metal parts, ensuring high-quality and accurate results while maintaining safety standards. The role requires expertise in both fitting and welding, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Fitting:

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal parts and components using hand and power tools.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fitting of parts.
Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and fitting of metal components to achieve precise assembly.
Perform necessary adjustments and modifications to metal parts as needed.
Welding:

Use welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) to join metal parts and structures according to specifications.
Prepare surfaces to be welded by cleaning, grinding, and aligning metal pieces.
Ensure welds are strong, clean, and meet safety and quality standards.
Inspect and test welds for quality and integrity using appropriate tools and techniques (e.g., visual inspection, non-destructive testing).
Safety and Compliance:

Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintenance:

Regularly inspect and maintain welding equipment, hand tools, and machinery to ensure proper functionality.
