Technical Electrician Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job location is Sanand, Ahmedabad.

Salary is between Rs. 22,000 to Rs.23,000 In-hand per month.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Electrician Engineer to handle electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and upkeep of plant machinery and utilities at Manufacturing Unit. The role focuses on ensuring uninterrupted operations, electrical safety, and compliance with manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive and breakdown electrical maintenance of manufacturing machines and plant utilities
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in production equipment, conveyors, compressors, motors, and panels
- Maintain LT panels, MCC panels, VFDs, PLC-controlled systems, sensors, and control circuits
- Ensure smooth operation of utilities such as DG sets, transformers, compressors, and lighting systems
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety norms, SOPs, and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with production, mechanical, and utility teams for quick issue resolution
- Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance records
- Support machine installation, commissioning, and modification activities
- Follow 5S, TPM, and safety standards within the manufacturing unit

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems
- Hands-on experience with motors, drives, control panels, and factory automation basics
- Valuable troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Understanding of electrical safety and compliance standards
- Ability to work in shift-based manufacturing environments

Education:

- ITI / Diploma / BE/BTech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Experience:

- 14 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing unit
- Experience in home appliances / FMCG / electronics manufacturing is an advantage
