Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within residential or commercial spaces, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a strong work ethic to deliver high-quality cleaning services consistently. Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in French considered a plus. Experience in hospitality, customer service, or residential cleaning is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities
• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Handle laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing
• Prepare spaces for clients by organizing items and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards
• Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
• Maintain organizational skills to keep cleaning supplies and equipment properly stored and maintained
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and preferences
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests professionally and courteously
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment

Experience
• Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning tools and products is preferred
• Experience in hospitality or customer service roles can be beneficial due to the emphasis on communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities are essential for success in this role
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; proficiency in French is a plus
