Type: Part Time

Rate of Pay: $19.38 per hour

Shift: Weekends Shifts - Weekend Shifts Including - Morning, Evening, Overnights

Allied Universal is hiring a Security professional in Calgary, Alberta. The position will be responsible for ensuring that all associates and visitors entering a building lobby are assisted in a professional and courteous manner. The Security Professional will attend to all tenants and guests with a superior level of customer service with an understanding of their needs and the ability to assist them with a multitude of tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Comfortable with basic computer systems and incident reporting software
• Perform front desk customer service and handle administrative tasks.
• Provide a prompt, efficient, and polite response to both visitors and internal customers face to face, via the telephone, and e-mail communication
• Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff.
• Maintain a professional attitude towards training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications.
• Address and resolve resident complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction.
• Support property management with any additional tasks as required.

Requirements:
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English, with strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills to produce clear and concise reports and understand rules, regulations, policies, and similar instructions.
• Exceptional customer service experience; preferably where face-to-face contact with the public was required
• Eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours per week.
• Hold a valid Security Guard License.
• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED, or equivalent work experience.
