Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment across various routes. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards.

Duties
β€’ Safely operate trucks for the transportation of freight, equipment, and materials to designated locations.
β€’ Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
β€’ Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary.
β€’ Maintain accurate delivery logs, driver logs, and other required documentation.
β€’ Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle operational readiness.
β€’ Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transit.
β€’ Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues.
β€’ Assist with warehouse operations involving freight handling and equipment operation.

Qualifications
β€’ Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
β€’ Experience in commercial driving, preferably with freight transportation.
β€’ Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is a plus.
β€’ Knowledge of automotive repair basics is desirable but not mandatory.
β€’ Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
β€’ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for recordkeeping and compliance documentation.
β€’ Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures diligently.
β€’ Physical ability to load/unload freight, lift heavy objects, and perform vehicle inspections as required. This position offers an engaging work environment for individuals committed to safety, efficiency, and professionalism in freight transportation.
