Position: Part-Time Security Guard

Location: Century Downs Racetrack and Casino

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of security experience.

What You’ll Do:
• Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment for guests and staff.
• Follow safety procedures and identify unsafe practices or conditions.
• Monitor and secure casino facilities, assets, and employee/guest safety.
• Provide courteous, professional, and prompt assistance to guests and staff.
• Investigate incidents, complete reports, and communicate effectively with supervisors.
• Conduct preventative patrols, enforce policies, and respond to emergencies.
• Escort money and assets as required, ensuring all transfers are secure.
• Collaborate with Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission Inspectors as needed.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of recent security experience required. Gaming experience is an asset but not required.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid AGLC Security License (or ability to acquire prior to hire).
• Standard First Aid Level C with AED.
• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Clear criminal background check.
• Proficient English communication skills (oral and written).
