Overview

G-Force is seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard to join our team. This role requires a proactive approach to crowd management, access control, and emergency response in dynamic environments. They will patrol event areas, respond quickly to incidents, and coordinate with event organizers and emergency services to ensure a smooth and secure experience for all attendees.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor and control access points, including entrances, exits, and restricted areas, to ensure only authorized individuals enter the event.
• Manage crowd flow and maintain order to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees.
• Conduct regular patrols of the event venue to identify and address potential safety or security risks.
• Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, and take appropriate action.
• Provide assistance to guests, staff, and vendors while maintaining a professional and approachable presence.
• Report any suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or incidents to supervisors immediately.
• Coordinate with event organizers, emergency services, and law enforcement when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, activities, and observations during the event.
• Ensure compliance with event safety regulations and security procedures.

Qualifications:
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Smart Serve Certificate required
• Previous experience in event security, crowd management, or a related field is preferred
• Strong understanding of crowd control techniques and event safety procedures
• Ability to manage large groups of people while maintaining order and professionalism
• Excellent observational skills with the ability to stay alert in fast-paced environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, staff, and vendors
• Ability to remain calm and respond efficiently during emergencies or high-pressure situations
• Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods during events
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies
