We are currently seeking an experienced AZ Driver to join our team, supporting equipment transportation and onsite operations.

Position Overview

This role involves equipment floating and mobilization. The successful candidate will be classified as a Ground Person Level 4 or 5, depending on experience.

In addition, the role includes operating AZ-class vehicles for transporting equipment and materials, as well as supporting overall crew productivity on site.

Qualifications
• Valid AZ Driver's License
• Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment floating/mobilization
• Experience with civil or utility construction considered an asset
• Strong work ethic and ability to work safely in a team environment

Job Description

As part of this role, you will be expected to perform a wide range of ground person duties, including but not limited to:
• Performing all work in accordance with safe work practices
• Using and maintaining tools and equipment required for construction activities
• Organizing work tasks and assisting in efficient job planning
• Accessing and preparing work areas, including maintaining safe site conditions
• Communicating effectively with crew members and supervisors
• Assisting in the installation of power system poles and steel lattice structures
• Supporting the installation of conductor systems
• Assisting in the construction, installation, and maintenance of street lighting systems
• Assisting in the construction, maintenance, and repair of transmission systems
• Assisting in the construction, maintenance, and repair of distribution systems
• Participating in the installation of foundations
• Assisting in the installation of underground and underwater power systems
• Installing and maintaining access roads to and within worksites

Compensation
• Wages will be based on experience and aligned with the applicable union collective agreement
