Our drivers operate a diverse fleet of expertly maintained vehicles for charter groups and contracted shuttle services throughout eastern Ontario. Each of our vehicles is routinely maintained by our automotive, truck and bus repair facility to ensure our drivers always have equipment that's in tip-top shape.

Position: Part-Time Shuttle Driver (located in west Ottawa)

McCoy Bus Service has an immediate opportunity for a part-time shuttle driver to work 2.5 hours in the morning and 2.5 hours in the afternoon to provide an employee shuttle service. The shuttle is operated Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 8:30am-10:30am and 3:30pm to 5:30pm. The shuttle is operated near Moodie Drive and The Queensway. Applicants must be able to start work immediately. The starting rate of pay is $24 per hour, $120 per day. The shuttle bus has air conditioning and is brand new!

Each driver must have a driver's license to drive passengers in a 24 passenger mini-bus and you must have a license CLASS F, C or B. If you do not have a license to drive passengers with a CLASS F, C or B then DO NOT APPLY.

Responsibilities
• Operate shuttle buses safely and efficiently for private groups.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers and addressing their needs professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of passenger counts riding the shuttle each day.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies during operations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules.
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle before and after trips.
• Qualifications
• Valid commercial driver's license CLASS F, C or B for 24 passenger vehicle.
• Proven experience in commercial driving or shuttle operation.
• Good mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and customer service.
• Ability to conduct routine vehicle inspections.
• Preferred qualifications include previous experience working with diverse client groups or in a similar transportation environment.
