Job Description
To provide Dispatch communication and Coordinate Operations with Security Guards regarding incidents, requests for assistance, emergencies, etc., and log details of radio transmission, telephone calls and verbal instructions, and to direct backup security support as necessary and to provide indirect supervision of Security Guards.

Duties include but not limited:
• Dispatch Security Guards to incidents, requests for assistance, emergencies, etc. Log details of radio transmission, telephone calls and verbal instructions
• Answer phones and Emails
• Direct backup support as necessary
• Inform management of major incidents
• Maintain the Camera Surveillance System
• Conduct security equipment audits
• Maintain key control, lost and found and emergency contact lists
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Monitoring CCTV system for unwanted activity, and filling out reports for any suspicious activity in a timely fashion.

Must Have:
• A valid Ontario Security Guard License an asset
• A Security Diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Shift flexibility is preferred.
• 2 years experience with a Security firm or as a Security Guard in Ontario.
• A minimum of 1 year Security Dispatch/Operations or scheduling experience.
• Ability to schedule and cover open shifts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proficient with emails, texts and answering phones.
• Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act an asset
• The ability to function proficiently in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment
• A strong customer service focus, able to work under pressure and excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
• Customer Service experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
