Startec Compression & Process is currently recruiting a B-Pressure Vessel Welder to work at our Shepard Shop (9423 Shepard Rd SE, Calgary, AB, T2C 4R6). The B-Pressure Vessel Welder's main responsibilities will include welding metal pressure vessels based on drawings provided, using techniques that adhere to all specifications for vessels, piping, and welding assembly. Shift Details: 5:50 a.m. - 4:20 p.m.QUALIFICATIONS:
• Journeyman trades certificate (preferably welding or pipe fitting)
• 2+ years of experience in vessel welding is required
• B-Pressure Certificate
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
• Ability to pass a pre-employment functional, alcohol, and drug
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):

VESSELS
• Must have experience with fabrication and welding of pressure vessels
• Read prints, layout, fit, and weld as required
• Experience with SMAW, GMAW, FCAW/GTAW weld processes
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Rigging along with the use of overhead and jib cranes
SAFETY
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Participate in safety and company programs
• Team player with positive engagement
• Participate in project reviews with engineering & drafting
