The Security Team always finds a way to lend a hand, resolve issues, and provide a welcoming environment wherever possible. Supporting our licensed bars, restaurants, and liquor-licensed venues, the Security Team always seeks to uphold our safety values and western hospitality. Here at Stampede, we all provide exceptional service to our guests, clients, and internal departments. These positions are Stampede-time roles, for the Calgary Stampede celebration in July 2026.
• Please note that some of these roles may require valid ProTect and/or Alberta Solicitor General licenses/certifications.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of our Security Team can include, but are not limited to:
• Ensuring that safety and security procedures are adhered to and communicate any concerns promptly.
• Enhancing the safety of our liquor-licensed values by promoting safety though observation and communication.
• Providing consistent messaging is consistent and in-line with directions given by Supervisors/Managers.
• Responding to guest inquiries and concerns and assist in providing information and directions to areas on park.
• Protecting property and ensure safety of guests, employees, volunteers, and livestock and react professionally in demanding situations.

Please note that all applicants will be required to:
• Be 18 years of age or older by June 2026
• Be legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada
• Have a Social Insurance Number
• Have a bank account in their own name
• Must successfully participate in a criminal background check
• Be available to work for all 10 days of the Calgary Stampede
• Complete and comply with all required training and policies
