ABOUT THE POSITION

Events & Tents Delivery Driver/Rental Equipment Installer

We’re looking for a motivated Events & Tents Delivery Driver/Rental Equipment Installer who’s ready to roll (literally).

If you’ve got a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and aren’t afraid of hands-on work, we want you to be on our team.

This role is responsible for the safe delivery, installation, coordination and removal of event rentals and tenting equipment across established routes, while delivering excellent customer service.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Safely load, transport, and unload rental equipment.
• Install and dismantle tents and event equipment (tables, chairs, staging, drape, catering equipment, décor, etc.).
• Supervise job sites and support team members to ensure safe, efficient execution.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety legislation.
• Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all road regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Lead and support crew members, including on-site training.
• Maintain clean, organized trucks, equipment, and warehouse spaces.
• Support warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, and preparing equipment.
• Jump in to support additional tasks, including equipment cleaning and special projects.
• Represent River City Events on-site with friendly, professional customer service.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Candidates must provide proof of at least three (3) years’ experience driving 5-ton or larger trucks.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a team.
• A positive, team-first attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically demanding role (heavy lifting required).
• Experience or confidence working with heavy equipment.
• Commitment to safety and always following procedures.
• Flexibility to work on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to provide a criminal record check.
• A great attitude, and yes, a sense of humour goes a long way.
