Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Captain / Server to join our front-of-house team. The Captain plays a key leadership role on the dining room floor, responsible for delivering a refined, detail-driven guest experience aligned with Michelin-level standards. This position requires a strong sense of ownership over each table, seamless coordination with both the kitchen and support team, and the ability to guide guests through the menu with confidence, clarity, and genuine hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute full sequence of service for assigned tables
- Deliver clear, engaging menu and beverage descriptions
- Maintain strong communication with kitchen and support staff
- Ensure precision in timing, pacing, and table management
- Anticipate guest needs and personalize the experience
- Uphold and reinforce DaNico’s service standards and culture
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

Skills & Requirements:
- Previous experience in fine dining or Michelin-level environments
- Strong food and wine knowledge (sommelier training is an asset)
- Exceptional communication and guest engagement skills
- High attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure
- Professional presence with a strong sense of accountability
- Team-oriented mindset with leadership capabilities on the floor
- Able to legally work in Canada
